
Ines Sastre, the face of Kailis
Inés Sastre epitomises modern beauty through her innate sophistication and natural style - making her an ideal ambassador for Kailis’ luxurious and rare Australian South Sea pearls.
Not only is she breathtakingly beautiful, but is fluently multilingual in Spanish, French, Italian and English. She holds a degree from Paris’ famed La Sorbonne University and is an internationally acclaimed actress and model.
She was born in Valladolid in central Spain in 1973 and was discovered at just 12 years old by Carlos Saura, who chose her to play in El dorado in 1987. Two years later, in 1989, she won the Elite Look of the Year contest.
She completed a degree in French Literature and graduate studies in Medieval Literature. She has also acted in an array of films in Spain, Italy, France, the United States and Argentina.
Among her best-known works are Beyond the Clouds from Michelangelo Antonioni, Il Testimone dello Sposo from Pupi Avati, and the television series’ The Count of Montecristo and Volpone – both in which she starred with Gérard Depardieu.

She also featured in the French super production Vidocq by Pitof, Druids with Christopher Lambert, Torrente 2 with Santiago Segura, and The Lost City - her first American movie, also starring Andy Garcia – released in 2006.
Inés Sastre became a truly global face when in 1996 she succeeded Isabella Rossellini as the face of Lancôme’s famous Trésor perfume. She has also modelled on the runway with fashion houses such as Chanel, Vivienne Westwood, Marc Jacobs, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Paco Rabanne, Sonia Rykiel, Fendi and Roberto Cavalli.
Since then, she has established residence in Paris and has given birth to her son Diego.
